The Company

G. Simmonds Electrical Ltd is a small family business, based in Godalming and been working in the Electrical contracting industry since 1982, during which time have served Business, Builders, Architects, and local Residence for all their Electrical needs from a single point, to rewires, to refurbishments, to New bespoke installations. We cover the area of London and the South East of England. In 1982 Geoff set up his own business, G. Simmonds Electrical, then took the company forward and in 1987 became accredited to the ECA and the following Associations, TrustMark, Surrey trading, Buy with Confidence, then in 2005 became Part P approved with ELECSA, also in 2005 the company went ‘LTD’.
The company provides bespoke quality electrical installations in London and the South East of England.
All our staff are fully trained and are in GSE uniform and photo identity cards so you know who is at your door when we call.

The People

Geoff Simmonds

Geoff has been in the business for over 39 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Electrical Installation field.
Geoff studied at Guildford Techincal College between 1971 and 1978. He obtained a City & Guilds qualification in Electical Installations and then continued his studies for two further years to obtain Electrical Techincians Certificates.
During this period he was employed as an apprentice at Etheringtons Electrical Services, where he learnt his trade.
Since college, Geoff has carried out further studies in testing and commmissioning of electrical installations and also travelled to America to do his service training on the PC25 Fuel Cell at Interational Fuel Cell in USA.
Finally Geoff became a JIB approved electrician in 1977 and set up his own buiness, G. Simmonds Electrical, in 1982 to provide quality electrical installations in the South East of England.

Matthew Simmonds

His son Matthew joined the company in 2003 as an apprentice Electrician and studied with ATL at their Training Centre in Guildford between 2003 to 2005 and obtained a City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Installations.
